Three types of cups in a huge variety of colours with a choice of three different axles. Fixed, Ball bearing or 3 ball bearing.

The cups start with the light weight Nimble style ideal for smaller kids up to 10 or 11 years old.

The Fly cups have the biggest range of colour choice available while the Shinning cups are the last innovation available since late 2009.

If you are not sure what to buy then this is the perfect choice for you. Simply because the diabolo can evolve with your skill level and budget.

A choice of Nimble cups with a fixed axle will give you a lightweight diabolo easy to start with.

Then when you have mastered the basic tricks just buy one of the bearing axles.

For older kids, say 13 to 33 we recommend the Shinning Crystal cups with a 3 bearing axle which is smoother than the single bearing and finds that bit extra speed just when you need it. However you may prefer the slightly heavier cups of the Fly which is a good choice for multi diabolo juggling with a fixed axle.

Whichever you choose make sure you get good sticks and string. Passe Passe recommends SLIDE string for its small diameter which reduces friction and therefore enhances the speed. As for control stick we recommend the very attractively priced Nitro Aluminum or Carbon sticks for around 10 euros which come fitted with Slide string as used by Tony Frebourg of ‘Cirque du Soleil’ Fame.
