The former is the model favoured by the Japanese & Tawainese diaboloists who reign supreme in the World Championships doing mind blowing tricks & juggling up to 5 diabolos at the same time. The latter models, more common in Europe & favoured by the French Posse of Diabology fame each have different type of axes and light kits available.
